Greater Portland Trans Unity (@greaterportlandtransunity on Instagram) is headlining & organizing the Trans General Assembly, which will be held SATURDAY, APRIL 12TH at 3:30PM at the Marie Equi Center (4434 SE 25th Ave., Portland, OR 97202).

This event is primarily gathering folks to organize and create plans of action in response to the current anti-trans & queerphobic climate and increasing danger towards us. Format for event: Folks, whether they’re just individuals or groups of people, are welcome to present plans of action that are ready to start and to recruit volunteers for everyone’s respective projects. All public events at The Marie Equi Center require masking. We are committed to ensuring an accessible and inclusive space for all visitors. The Marie Equi Center is:

• ADA compliant, including high

• weight limit seating (including armless chairs) and accessible pathways for mobility devices. - Equipped with 4 ADA

• accessible and gender-neutral restrooms.

• Located near public transportation: The #17 bus stops a half-block from our entrance, and the Yellow Line MAX (17th & Holgate) is .4 miles away.

• Limited on-site parking is available on the north side of the building, including one ADA-designated parking space.

• A mask-required space to protect our immunocompromised community members. We will have masks available if needed.
