About Us

The Marie Equi Center is a Day Center dedicated to supporting unhoused and low-income LGBTQAI2S+ individuals through trauma-informed care, community health access, housing navigation, peer support, and a welcoming, affirming environment. Our work centers belonging, dignity, and justice for all.

Centering Equity and Social Justice

We have a deep commitment to equity and social justice, advancing practices, strategies, and policies that promote fairness, justice, and opportunity for all—in our workplaces and our communities. With this commitment, The Marie Equi Center is rooted in a pro-equity agenda to advance regional change and ensure that residents from the most vulnerable communities are at the forefront of our efforts.

We are dedicated to hiring individuals who represent the diverse populations we serve and who are committed to serving participants with quality and compassion. The selected candidate will join an innovative and progressive team that values collaborative leadership to foster personal and professional growth, equity, and social justice, as well as respect for people and staff. Trauma-informed care is a cornerstone of our work, and we prioritize hiring and training individuals with lived experiences of houselessness and other identities relevant to the communities we serve (LGBTQAI2S+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, disabled).
